Huntley Area Lions Club Helen Keller Day

This family event will be held on Saturday, June 28th at the Huntley Public Library at 11000 Ruth Road.  At this FREE event, The Lions of Illinois Mobile Unit will be offering vision and hearing screening for adults and children (6 months and older).  You'll learn about Hellen Keller and her relationship with the Lions.  Horizons for the Blind will demonstrate sign language and  Braille.  Also, meet guide dog "Kiwana", a yellow lab, and meet her owner, Mary Kozy, a Sun City resident.
