FAQ: Q: Do I need a ticket to attend Derby Day? Q: What if I don’t drink alcohol—can I still participate in the Bourbon, Beer & Wine Trot? Q: Is hat making complimentary? Q: If I want to participate in hat making, can I do so without a ticket?
$30 Bourbon, Beer, & Wine Ticket (includes 6 tastings & complimentary hat making)
$20 Mocktail Ticket (includes 6 tastings & complimentary hat making)
Must purchase a Trot Ticket in order to participate in the hat making.
Human Horse Races, Wooden Horse Display and Final Watch Party will be in the Huntley American Legion Honor Garden and is free for anyone to enjoy.
A: No ticket is required to attend and enjoy the event! However, a ticket is needed to participate in the Bourbon, Beer & Wine Trot.
A: Absolutely! You can purchase a Mocktail Ticket and still enjoy all the fun and themed experiences.
A: Hat making is included for guests who have purchased either a Bourbon, Beer & Wine Trot Ticket or a Mocktail Ticket.
A: Hat making is reserved for ticket holders. However, you can purchase a $20 Mocktail Ticket to join in the hat-making fun. Purchasing a ticket does not require participation in the trot—you’re welcome to enjoy just the activities you prefer.
Rain or Shine: Unless otherwise indicated, outdoor events occur rain or shine. If lightning or other dangerous weather is imminent or present, the Huntley Area Chamber reserves the right to cancel or delay any remaining event activities. Updates on the status of an interrupted or canceled event will be posted to Facebook and Instagram. Please note, event websites and social media pages may not be immediately updated to reflect any weather-related changes. In the event a ticketed event is canceled, the Huntley Area Chamber will email ticket holders with options for their unused tickets.
