About Us

Animal House Shelter is a non-profit, no-kill 501c3 shelter for all breeds of dogs and cats located in Huntley, IL. Founded in June 2002, Animal House Shelter takes in, cares for and adopts out neglected or abandoned animals, especially those scheduled for euthanasia at other shelters.

Over 63,000 animals have been adopted from Animal House Shelter since opening our doors! Animal House Shelter does not discriminate against animals based on breed, age or health problems and we pride ourselves on taking care of medical needs that the animals might have regardless of the cost.
