United Way of Greater McHenry County mobilizes the caring power of community so that all can thrive. We partner with our community members to improve lives, provide hope, and create pathways to self-sufficiency in McHenry County. Our focus areas are youth opportunity, health, financial resilience, senior vitality, and disaster recovery. Thanks to the generosity of our donors every child in McHenry County from birth to five years old can be enrolled to receive a free book in the mail each month from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, the 211 resource hotline is available 24/7 for McHenry County residents, and meaningful grants are awarded each year to support programs provided by our vetted non-profit partners. United is the way!
